A 20 minute drive from Hoedspruit takes you to the base of the rugged Drakensburg Mountains below the Blyde dam wall. There one begins a 15 minute hike through indigenous forest before reaching the first of three waterfalls. Here one can simply relax in beautiful surroundings, or jump off the rocks and swim in the pool below the falls. For those with more energy, hiking up stream reveals two more waterfalls.
