Enjoy the splendor of the Blyde River Canyon! The third biggest canyon in the world, and unquestionably the largest 'green' canyon due to it's lush subtropical foliage. An interpretation tour by a tour guide takes you to the rare living Kadishi Tufa waterfall and the Three Rondawels; three huge, round rocks thought to be reminiscent of the houses of indigenous people, known as the rondavels. A large diversity of wildlife is to be found here, including hippos, crocodiles, primates, fish eagles as well as the natural history of the dam. |
